6/17/08::
For those of you who didn't know, Lemonsoul took the first
month of summer off to travel (Ingmar spent a week or two in
Austin, TX; Dan spent a month volunteering in New Zealand;
Austin spent a month working in Alabama). Rest
assured, we will be returning to work this Wednesday and as
always, you can catch us from 10:30 to 2 every Wednesday
night at the Phyrst! Arts Festival is approaching
fast, so keep in mind that we have a prime spot this year:
Friday night at 10 on the Allen St. Stage. We hope to
see you all there.
Check our
schedule for more upcoming summer shows including Greg
Johnson's LAST show in State College...

4/19/08::
We will be playing at 7PM on the HUB Lawn tomorrow for Earth
Day, so if you're free and the weather is nice, come stop
by! There will be activities and entertainment all
day, as organized by PSU's EcoAction; these guys have been
working really hard so even if you can't make it for us, try
to make an appearance at some point during the day. It
will be worth your time.

1/15/08::
For almost two years now we have occupied the weekly
Sunday night gig at the Phyrst. I guess you could
say we paid our dues and now we are excited to announce we
have moved into the Wednesday night slot (Maxwell Strait
will be moving to Thursdays). Starting tomorrow (the
16th), you can catch us every Wednesday night from approx.
10pm - close.
We
should also note the postponement of our State Theatre
show due to various logistical reasons. Hopefully we
will be announcing the new date soon. Lastly,
we have four Friday night shows booked at Bar Bleu for
this semester, as listed on the "shows"
page. Check back in the coming days for an
update regarding some other exciting additions to our
schedule...

on 2007 - thanks for your support! |
| 4/29/07::
Last night we opened up for Phantom Planet at Movin'
On 2007 and despite the questionable weather, we had a
truly amazing time. We owe all our loyal fans a huge
THANKS...we had no idea there was still so much support
for us out there! And all the dancing...you know how
we like that. Check back soon for more details
about upcoming shows (including one a rally at South Hills
aimed at getting rid of the SCASD school board's new
plans).

| PSU
battle of the bands champs! |
| 4/14/07::
Just wanted to remind everyone that April 22 is Earth
Day! That happens to be a Sunday so we will be
playing at the Phyrst (as we do every Sunday night) and we
hope to get a hold of some Earth Day pins for you all.
Learn more here...
We also want to thank those of you who came and supported
us at the PSU "Movin' On"
Battle
of the Bands. We had a truly fun time thanks to you
guys, and to our surprise we actually won first place.
So make sure to catch us at HUB Lawn for Movin' On 2007 on
April 28. I don't have the details yet but we will
be playing on the sidestage right before the headliner
(Phantom Planet; you know, Califooorrniiaaa). So
between Earth Day and Movin' On, we hope to see all of you
in the coming weeks!

| demo,
EP, whatever you want to call it |
| 2/6/07::
As many of you know, Lemonsoul has been recording
songs for a new EP in the last few months. Thus far,
three songs are complete and a few more are coming along.
However, for several reasons Lemonsoul has recently
decided to instead release a "four-song demo" as
soon as possible, and continue working on a variety of
songs over the next year. This will include the
three studio tracks we have completed and one live song.
We feel as though right now the best thing we can do is
get the music out quickly to the people who want to hear
it and not charge them an arm and a leg for it! What
is the difference between a demo and an EP? Well,
the demo will not be "professionally copied and
printed" because quite frankly it is an expensive
process for just four songs! (The songs, however,
will be of the most professional quality) Lemonsoul does
hope to release a full-length studio album in the
future; an album that will better reflect our maturity as
a band and ever-changing influences. We are still
young and hope that our potential growth over the coming
months and years will create better and better music.
As for the demo, it should be available within the next
three weeks. More info soon...

Also, Lemonsoul will be playing a THON benefit show at
Lulu's on Feb. 1st. Check back for more details...

new
EP on the way |
| 1/11/07::
Not much to report at this point; however, we have been
working on our EP for several weeks now and hope to
release it by spring break...Most likely it will be $5 and
will include around six songs. We would also like to
take this opportunity to thank all of you who have been
supporting us at the Phyrst on Sunday nights, including
the loyal weekly fans, the staff, and anyone else who has
stopped by. You guys are the best!
